I’m quite the 3D printing noob. I made a lithophane on the makerworld website, downloaded a 0.2mm profile for it for the A1. Put in my 0.2mm nozzle, changed the nozzle option on the printer itself and printed it. However the print has turned out as pictured. Do you know what or where I may have gone wrong in this? Why does
it look like the nozzle has scraped into the print?
Myself, I had the same issue with a 0.2 nozzle & started using only 0.4 nozzles.
The image might not be as clear, but unless you have it side by side no one will notice.
You may try printing it standing up. On a bedslinger that may be a challenge but it’s how I’ve always printed them unless they’re in color.
All done with .04. I found the detail loss which was minimal was worth the time saved.
The pic is a little unclear other than the shedded bits. Does the underside look like it pulled up off the bed/adhesion related? First layer too squished?
Ensure you have “Reduce infill retraction” turned off, and that your speeds aren’t too extreme (although nozzle volumetric flow setting for 0.2 usually clamps that down)
