0.2mm nozzle bad first layer

Hi there, fully updated a1, bambu studio, bambu settings, clean textured pei plate with added bambu liquid glue, bambu 0.2 nozzle

underside

Couple things I would double check.

  • Is the printer set to .2 nozzle size? (via the printer display)
  • Have you calibrated the filament for this nozzle size?

hi! yes i do have the printer set to .2 nozzle on the printer and in the slicer
i can’t upload the .3mf because apparently it’s too large of a file
for the filament calibration, i just do the pre print calibration, this happens once in a while and only with .2 nozzle
i’m using elegoo rapid pla+, with .4 nozzle it’s zero issues at any layer height on smooth or textured plates
not sure why this happens with .2 nozzle
it even does it with bambu pla

flow rate! thanks for the comment to lead me down the right path.
i had a feeling it wasn’t hardware or filament, i felt like it was slicing for sure but just didn’t know what part of it

I used this project Initial Layer Flow Ratio - Calibration Test - Free 3D Print Model - MakerWorld

My first layer randomly started getting really rough and after a while the printer stops extruding. Can someone please tell me what’s causing this problem and how i could fix this. I tried to fix it by doing multiple tests and even calibrating it many times. I’ve tried to use flow dynamics, bed leveling and I have even checked if anything was clogged or jammed in the printer. I have a Bambu Lab A1. If anybody has this same problem can they please help me resolve it
