.06 nozzle selected in both studio and X1C but filaments in the AMS show .08 printing is fine but the 2 do not match. See attached

Hi

From the image, I read that you are using a printer with a 0.6mm nozzle (as you expected), with a filament preset that you created or named for the 0.8mm nozzle.
You may be correct regarding the bug, but I cannot see it in the image.
