I ran into an issue I wasn’t expecting. I was in a 11 hour print, at hour 10 i checked the cam and saw it wasn’t extruding anything. I checked on it, and there was a knot in the filament. Its a fault in the filament, not the H2S, but I have had a previous printer that as part of the runout sensor tracked filament movement. Is something like this available for the H2S? I doubt there is, but any suggestions? It was AnyCubic filament if that matters.

It is possible that the motor kept turning and as the filament existed in the sensor, there were no indications of a problem.
Printers can only rely on sensors.
- If there is filament, the filament sensor will not indicate a lack of filament.
- If the feed motor still manages to spin despite the snagging filament, it is unaware of a problem.
Your previous experience with a different printer may not have reacted exactly the same, thus a different outcome.
The filament itself is unlikely a factor other than the cause of the blockage.
Were you printing from an external spool? The AMS will tell you if there is an issue feeding. It will pause and let you attempt to fix it.
Yes it was the external spool. The AMS 2 PRO and AMS HT are currently not getting along with the printer. Waiting on a replacement buffer from BL. I was hoping to hear the AMS had a similar feature. Finger crossed i can get it working again.
