140mm filament spools in P1S combo?

I saw what I thought might be a good deal, and it might be, a good deal only to realize the spools are 140mm, not 200mm.
I have a Bambu Lab with AMS so I was wondering if anyone has tried this size before without issues? It’s the smaller size that concerns me.

I have tried the 140mm spool before and it has not worked. It was too small for the AMS system so the spool wouldn’t rotate when taking filament out after a print. Instead the filament would come out but not wrap around the spool. Also you are getting only 250g of filament usually in those spools. When you spool runs low it is also hard for the filament to reach the inserted slot because it is so low to the machine. Hopes this helps!

Typically a spool of filament is 1 kilogram in weight and 1.75mm diameter.
Bambu Lab spools are reusable and you can save a few bucks by buying the refill instead of the spool and filament. So do not throw away your empty spools. They have a twist lock that if you twist each side flange in opposite direction from each other it separates to accommodate a refill.

I have never seen the small diameter spools personally but I have seen the 250g spools that were same approximate diameter but very narrow so that they can theoretically work in an AMS.
If you get into exotic materials that can be super expensive that can be an option.
