If a prime tower is to flush filament between color changes, why does the H2D profiles still create a tower when only printing with 2 colors. Am I missing something?
A prime tower is to prime the nozzle for printing by extruding filament until the pressures stabilize. And to remove the old overcooked filament in the nozzle. The poop bin is for purging.

When switching nozzles each nozzle still needs to heat up and then build the filament pressure back up to normal.

There is a toggle that allows you to prime in the infill, but if your infill is critical for strength, I would recommend against that.
