I am stumped by this one. 2 X1Cs happily connected to me wifi. No issues for ages. Then yesterday I added a H2S printer to the same wifi. So far so good. Then I noticed that X1C printer 1 had dropped off the wifi. X1C printer 2 was fine.
I went into the settings of printer 1 and it could not even see the house wifi. Fortunately I have a 5g hub as a backup and I connected it to that with no issue. Today Printer 2 has also dropped off the house wifi and it too can no longer see the network.
I have restarted the home network, 3 times, I have tried adding the network manually on the printers and I have restarted the printers and turned the wifi on and off but they no longer see the network.
The H2S is still on the house network. Can anyone help?

Hi, both x1Cs were connected to 2.4Ghz. on the home wifi. They only dropped off after I set up the H2S. The H2S could just be a red herring of course. Nothing has changed on my house network.
Just don’t get why they would both drop off and not see the network they have been connected to for years.
Did the X1s have the Connect (crapware) + firmware installed and running prior to inserting the H2?
Take the H2 off and see if the X1s find&connect to the network again. If it works as before, connect the H2 again and see what happens. If after adding the H2 your X1s get “kicked out” again, you’ve found your culprit: the H2.
Hard to say for sure with the info given. It could be something simple like the router’s DHCP pool/lease handling, but it could just as well be Wi-Fi band steering, interference, or the H2S’s Wi-Fi radio behaving differently (e.g. using an aggressive mode or higher transmit power). Without more details on the network setup (router type, number of devices, DHCP range, etc.) it’s just guessing. If you can share those, it’d be easier to narrow down.
thanks. Here is what I have. Internet comes into the house, (Not full fibre), goes into TP Link AC2100. Then a cable goes from that to an Orbi mesh system then sends out the wifi network to the house.
The AC2100 has wireless off. DHCP is on for the LAN
On the Orbi settings it is sending out both 2.4 and 5ghz signals. The only thing I have just found out is that the satellite for the orbi that is closest to the printers has gone offline and won’t reconnect. So maybe that is the issue.
Can you force IP addresses on the router for both mac addresses of the X1Cs? What I generally do is look in the printer menu which IP addresses were assigned by the DHCP and force those addresses in the router for the mac address so that they never change and create conflicts.
