I thought I was ready - I printed several minis on my .4 Nozzle and wanted them to be “better” so I switched to a .2mm. Needless to say it’s been nothing but a waste of filament. None of my figs are coming out clean. They all have this wild stringing going on. I’ve tried changing the speeds, played with different layer heights, different filament types (Bambu PLA and Sunlu PLA), nothing seems to work.
I’ve combed the forum (almost everything talks about clogging) and reddit but nothing seems to work.
I’m desperate, would anyone be willing to help with some settings I could try? I’ve attached the 3mf file as well as my latest attempt.

I think the 3mf upload is still not working. You have to use external file shares.
For me it looks quite good until a specific height. If we can access the 3mf maybe we can see something. Typically this spagetthi starts with bed adhesion issues, did your figures move on the bed?
the .2mm hotend is finicky, especially on the A1 bedslingers… you have to calibrate your filaments and save the values then disable the “auto flow calibration” otherwise it will overwrite your saved values. If you dont calibrate the filaments you will drive yourself insane with the clogs and other issues.
Thanks for the response! It doesn’t appear the figure moved but I realize even a .mm of shift would cause an issue so it’s hard to say.
I have tried different beds and still run into the same issue (regardless of the figure).

Thanks - I did calibrate but I can’t say for certain if I disabled the auto flow feature. I’ll try this next!
Also - Insane is the appropriate way I feel right now. I was cooking with the .4 with preset speeds/supports and thought “hey, let’s try .2 and get even better results”. Little did I know I’d be stepping into piles of spaghetti every couple hours.

That looks like a support failure. You had “On Build Plate Only” and there are a couple of significant unsupported sections that could become a problem.
Personally, I don’t expect this model to come out that great (FDM isn’t good when this level of support is needed), but I think you’ll have a chance at completing the print if you uncheck “On Build Plate Only” and maybe go to Tree Organic. Either way, there will be a lot of cleanup of the supported areas.
BTW, I think the switch to a 0.2mm nozzle was a good idea. The 0.4mm would be a total mess, as far as the details go.

this was with .4mm not too bad but not alot of overhangs
have you tried printing slower?
Supports is where I’ve been trying the most change I’ve done build plate only (on/off) Standard support (ugh!), tree (organic and std) and even tried custom supports. No matter what I’ve done it just doesn’t want to finish the print without frizzing everywhere.
I was “content” with the way it came out with a .4 - I just wanted to see if I could get some of those layer lines out of the cape.

I have - I slowed it down to 50% - as well as tried some suggestions on Reddit for custom speeds - here is the latest group of settings I used and it produced the image in my original post.
