I cant seem to get this region in red supported shown in the pic. its the 2nd layer and theres nothing underneath it i dont think. this reagion shifts when printing so i dont think its being pressed into the plate correctly. any tips?
model design issue. better fix the model. if you can’t then try tune in the slicer settings with tricks like building rafts.
What support did you define?
What is the gap between the support interface and the part?
What support material are you using?
All factors on top of the ones of @hotellonely that also influence your results.
Are you saying the red area starts at layer 2? You may have a hard time supporting a single layer. The interface alone is 3 layers. A raft, like @hotellonely said, is your best bet.
Or, you can chop 1 layer off and make the bottom flat
