I’ve been trying to read up on how others have 3D printed 2 sided coins.
It seems from reddit posts most have printed front and back as 2 separate stls and then glued the 2 pieces together.
We’re interested in printing many as free giveaways and gluing them together could be time consuming on a work project that has a deadline of 2 days ago. Plus, we worry re: glue and the public not always being the best bet.
Has anyone printed a 2 sided coin by standing the coin up vertically on the bed to print on both sides?

I hope you mean 2-sided, cuz otherwise we need some tesseracts
If your coin depends on a relief, you can try to use a 0-gap support material to put the relief on the bottom side and not have to worry about drooping. This way you can print it laying down where it wont present such trouble.
If you print standing up on edge, I would recommend cheating by 5% and deleting the bottom 5% of the disc, to give you a very minor flat edge to build on. You can use the cut tool, or the move tool to just sink it down a little underneath the plate [slicer auto cuts below that plane]. Aggressive supports can help make that bottom rounded edge less bad. Probably best to avoid the A1 due to the bed movement.

Yes, 2 sided coin would be much easier. Did you find any YT videos which helped you in the course of creating your two sided coin? I’m a relative noobie mostly resizing stls and/or creating simpler stls in Tinkercad. Thank you for all you can share.
Use a raft or brim, support the edge, print vertically
Also, how many coins do you need? You say the glue would be a lot of work, so is it actually feasible to FDM print so many?
A resin printer will do coins vertically no problem, as would printing a mould and casting them - though I do not recommend this if you have not done it before as so much can go wrong with casting.
