3mf files from Makerworld don't work in Cura

Why would they need to call it different when all of the other companies use it as they do currently?

At some point you do have to recognise that everyone else is using PS as a base, and when most of the INDUSTRY is using a piece of software as STANDARD that it might not be everyone else who is the problem

I’m defending standards being held back by a company who refuses to adapt and keep up the modern trends, why are you advocating for stagnation because cura can’t be bothered?

Yes, and those standards evolve and are a BASE, they are not the ONLY thing you can use it for, USB-C is a standard, yet people can use that in many ways that fall outside of the official spec, going to advocate that everyone else comply with the letter of the law there aswell?

And the base format is there, the issue is, like i’ve said, that slicers evolve, ultimaker doesn’t seem to want to actually keep up with how people use their machines, they are pretty much the only ones still using their own slicer so when their customer base has issues its not the fault of the standard its the fault of the company living in the dark ages

Its not an argument though thats the thing, its a statement of facts, cura needs to adopt a modern software platform
