3rd party ABS settings

Will give this a try.
Every time Bambu runs out of filament (usually during sales and product launches), it leaves people high and dry that need a filament for a print job with a deadline. So, let’s do something no other site has done. Create a place people can go to for filament settings. Want to have one for each major category of filament.

Unofficial rules, but please try to follow.

  1. NO posts asking for settings!!! I’d like this to be a repository for actual tested settings. Requests will fill up the thread with clutter. Post a request in Other topics and ask people to post their settings in one of the repositories.
  2. Settings must have been tested by the user, no “I heard this will work” or “maybes”.
  3. If there are links to jsons or pdfs with the settings like eSun has, post the links.
  4. if you can create a pdf with all of the settings, whether type written, or using a collection of screen grabs, please do. Otherwise post screen grabs of all of the modifications visible, or list them all via text.
  5. If you know how to export jsons, do that.
  6. List the printer and nozzle size at the start of the post.

So I will start with eSun

Pdf with detailed settings for ALL eSun filaments. Separate listings for P1P and X1 in each filament type. I’ve used both in the P1S with success, but the X1C settings are what I’d recommend. Use the P1P settings with the A1.

Downloadable jsons. Click on the download link. They are in a .rar file. If you can’t extract on your computer, for Windows, download 7zip.

Inland standard speed ABS

Use the eSun settings for ABS+ and change 2 settings

  1. Max Volumetric speed: 12 mm3/s
  2. Speed / Slow down for overhangs: on
  3. Overhang speed:
  4. Set the 25% to 50% speed to 60 mm /s. The difference in the amount of stringing with this small change was amazing.
