4 back to back defected units By Metatechtr i need geniune advice

I got my first bambu lab A1 printer from metatechtr in june 12.I have upgraded from an Ender 3 V3 SE to a bambu lab A1. Then I turned on the printer and started printing things like benchy and sd card holder. While i was looking at the sd card holder i noticed some z wall defects on its z wall and it was banding.I printed xyz cubes and cylinders trying to solve issue by software but nothing did really helped.

So as any normal person would do i contacted reseller metatechtr about this (30.06.2025). They made me do belt calibration and bed tramming. I reprinted the model and it did not helped apart from making the model more clear with a bumpy surface finish. When i contacted them again about it they just said I did it wrong and made me do it few more times. Afterwards they told me that I send back the printer to them but a payment will be required which i was pissed as the defect wasn’t my fault at all and furious because the money they wanted was not a small amount. I declined the offer. They wanted me to retighten the hotend screws which also failed and every time I wrote to them about this and following issues but they were just so confident about the assumption that it was just my fault so it just went on and on. I wrote to them again and they wanted me to retighten the belts and do bed tramming again. After yet another fail they just did not believe I done it the correct way and asked me “Are you sure you did it correct?” or “Do it again just to be sure”. This went on for a very, very long time. After all that I went on and wrote about everything in one single message and stated that this defect had been happening since i opened the box and I did everything you guys said(AS SAID) and its still not working. I am not paying them anything. Maybe I could have overtightned the belts or idk perhaps I just missed something?

I did not really had any information about this at all and they were just asking about my belt tensions and had the guts to say “you should enjoy activities like belt tensioning its a fun part of 3D printing” While I was suffering from a literal z axis leadscrew issue?? I even sent them a video proof of z axis lead screw turning and making O shape https://youtu.be/Lcq_–gSlb4) (They ignored it and asked about belts again lol)

After 7 days of trying to convince them to open a ticket to bambu lab about the defected printer of mine they finally agreed to do so. I sent them this printer on the date of 23.07.2025 after getting guaranteed free repair. It was fine until…

On the date of 06.08.2025 I wanted an update on the said printer in repair. They sent me test prints showing it is “fixed” so I requested a picture of the prints and they sent me some pictures. I quickly noticed the z banding on the so called “fixed printer” and told them about its bad quality ninja figure they printed as test. Then they said “filament issue we are working on it”. (total cap)

On the date of 08.08.2025 they sent me two more test prints and said it was fixed and they literally spent the other days trying to convince me that it was fine. I told them “If you think its really fixed send the printer back to me” I expect y’all can guess its unprofessional to send a faulty printer back to me again and say just try to fix it?

On the date of 02.09.2025 i got the A1 on my hands and did not wanted to turn on the printer work because of missing parts as ptfe tube, purgewipers screw for gods sake…
First they were just saying we look into it (if i did not contacted about it every day they were just forgetting about it the next day which always happened through the whole 5 months) but as i continuned to contact them every day they eventually started to get me serious.

On 04.09.2025 I got the package. They sent me a ptfe tube yeah thats correct and uhh a purge wiper without a screw. I specificly said EVERY DAY IT WAS MISSING A SCREW NOT THE PURGEWIPER AND THEY SENT ME A PURGEWIPER WITHOUT A SCREW?? I just put it aside and continuned to be gentleman and talk respectively about this matter.

On the same date my print was a great failure. No surprise it was not fixed or improved a bit. They just sent me the printer back doing nothing on it and they insisted it was fine (Imgur: The magic of the Internet)…
I wasnt very satisfied well as one can expect so i continuned my calls and oh by the way they made me retighten the belts and do bedtramming a few more times

On 22.09.2025 they were finally convinced the printer was still faulty and i needed a replacement. A brand new device which i should have received way before. A brand new p1s (Upgraded from A1 on condition that I paid the difference of price) I was really happy that day as I am finally getting a fully enclosed corexy printer that have filtration. That is big news if you print abs commonly which i was really so happy about…

On the date of 26.09.2025. p1s arrived. I setted it up and printed some basic things like a benchy and a xyz cube to compare with ender3 v3 se. well that p1s … had z banding too

I retightened the belts a few more times and did bed tramming. I tried every single troubleshoot possible I just couldn’t convince myself that it had z banding at this point and how am i supposed to explain this at metatechtr now?? i tried

cleaned carbon rods on 99.9% Alcohol
regreased rods
oiled linear rods
retightened belts
did bed tramming
cleaned bed (i did not had any adhesion problems anyways)

In software:
calibrated filament
decreased temp
periodically lowered speed to 40mms
tried arachne walls
tried tuning down volumetric flow it was maybe just inconsistent extrusion?
increased layer time (for better and optimal line shrinkage)
infill wall overlap -5% , 0%, 5 %,10% (made it worse)
as a last ditch effort i tuned acceleration down to 500mms

so i put myself together myself and contacted metatechtr about it again on 29.09.2025.
they said it was normal in fdm printing  (Imgur: The magic of the Internet) (Imgur: The magic of the Internet)

They were not convinced and had the audacity to say I have mental disabilities. I convinced them to open a bambu lab ticket at the date of 01.10.2025. so called bambu lab told them its normal in these geometries, “minor artifacts” is normal in fdm blah blah

anyways i did not believed them

On 08.10.2025 after metatechtr tried to gaslight me into this being a normal thing which I did not really though so convinced them to open another ticket again but this time I also opened my very first bambulabs tech support ticket along theirs.

On 17.10.2025 I got my own ticket response resulted in unit replacement by bambulab so i contacted metatechtr asking how is their own “ticket” is going. I called them on phone and they were so proud saying “your printer is so finee its normaal but we are really caring companyy we care about your opinion you can send your printer back for our inspection” which would result in a fee. I told them about my very own ticket and bambulabs response. Their whole mocking personality suddenly turned so respectful. A whole personality changed within seconds
and started to ask questions what I did wrote to bambu lab and continuned to yap about how great is their company and how well are they going to replace and its their standart blah blah

I sent the printer back and got a full refund after I got into a arguement with them
i recieved my refund at 06.11.2025

with that money I purchased a bambulab p1s ams2 pro on a diffrent reseller 3dteknomarket on the same date

20.11.2025 i recieved my brand new p1s with ams 2 unit well. Sadly I wan’t able to cheer as just wanted it to work because in this timeline I really missed so many things, so many projects, so many festivals that I lost count. I am a student and i can say that I cant afford these printers on normal standarts. It took so long to actually save up enough money for it and that is the threatment I get.

well when i got my first print…

Can one believe this? It came with z banding again. a faulty unit again and this time i dont even know what to feel about it. Its just empty feeling getting your tolerances ruined and your print quality so bad ender 3 v3 se really beats it up ???
so i did all over again did every single thing i did with my previous p1s

at least 3dteknomarket tech support was actually helpful they just wanted a picture and diagnosed the issue as z wobble told me to retighten the belts and do bed tramming i told them i already did it and just said send it back it was easy as of today 24.11.2025 i packed it up again and tomorrow i will give it to the cargo and send it back for a replacement (again)

things that i lost in this process is (except my mental health and lots of tons of time)

i did not had any supstantial loss. Something useless worth so much but I cant spend it imagine your whole life savings sitting on some corner and you cant spend it ? that is enough loss for me
i got disgraced and mocked by technical crew on metatechtr

i just wanted a working 3Dprinter that i actually paid for what can i do now i am going for a replacement again on a different reseller hoping history wont repeat itself.

this is no joke it really happened. Anyone who really wills to help i have chat records per unit receipt and mails etc.

and dont say “is your filament dry?” i dried it of course.

here is some of my new prints
