I am a bit on the fence about getting a new printer during the sale, and it seems like the P1S Combo might be the thing I am looking for, spending a bit of cash and some makerworld gift cards.
Now, I have been printing for quite a few years, started back when machines were a lot simpler, but only bought into the bambu ecosystem last year with an A1 Combo, and I quite frankly love it, less tinkering, more designing.
That said, I am looking to get more into experimenting with filaments like PA/PACF and similar, so I would need an enclosed machine. (getting gear/nozzle update ofc)
Does anyone have any experiences with P1S and PA that would indicate that I should look to another printer?
I have seen a lot of videos about the P1S, and noise levels and while dbl meters and such give some good info, I am more interested in subjective opinions, as I usually work in the same small room as the printer, wearing headphones, but generally being around 5 feet away. (No issue with the A1)
(I have little interest in printing ABS/ASA currently due to styrene, and needing to hook up a bitter venting system)
So, besides the questions about noise and PA experiences, I guess I am just looking for people’s experiences to push me one way or the other on the decition.
