A little help with printing something

I have a small part that has threads, and needs to print with supports. I have it where it prints “OK” but I’m wondering if anyone can suggest some slicing improvements for better prints.

Printing the small threads isn’t necessarily the problem. I’ve tuned my printers so that I can print threaded dust caps very well, with this same thread size (M48x0.75). The issue seems to be needing to print supports for this particular model.

So if anyone wants a challenge I’ve attached the project (in OrcaSlicer).

If you have an AMS I recommend PVA supports which dissolve and have a Z gap of 0 for perfect quality. Another idea is to add dowels and just glue it together with super glue, which should result in a pretty perfect result.

Thanks, I have never heard of PVA. Expensive but looks like it should do the trick.

Use the PVA only for the support interface. Saves expensive material and time changing filaments.
