The product request is for a basic wireless charger kit.
I recently released a design for a Phone Bed Wireless Charger and I have the K-012 kit listed in my BOM, but there is a whole bunch of stuff in that kit that is unnecessary.
The kit that is on the store is put together specifically for the A1 Charger and contains 85 pieces (15 unique components) at a cost of $58 Canadian. I feel like we would see a lot more wireless charger designs if a basic kit that included just the Circuit Board & Coil as well as four M2*5 screws was added to the store.

The secret contest that isn’t actually a contest is the Wind-Up Walking Mechanisms product page itself.
Added sometime around September/October (I think), the product page initially displayed three Halloween designs, and I thought it was a great idea to update the photo at Christmas to display three new designs. I was sitting here wondering if they would switch it up for Valentines day, but it was updated to today to highlight three new animal designs instead. Probably due to the compete lack of Valentine’s Day wind-up designs.
I love the idea of revolving photos highlighting designs that use the mechanism and I hope they start doing it with other Maker’s Supply products as well.
It almost feels like a contest where someone might not win gift cards or anything, but they get exposure as their design is featured on the product page and linked to in the description for a month or two.
Maybe it’s just me.
