P1S with AMS, only using single color so no color changes.
I think I understand the reason for filament retraction after a model has completed, it prevents the nozzle from cooling and the filament becoming a hard blob in the nozzle.
But, what if I am printing many separate pieces for the same project (The project has 12 gears of different sizes and shapes) reheating and retraction after every piece is printed adds lots of time to creating the whole project.
I tried printing multiple parts at the same time, but the print fails, or the parts become poor in appearance, I suspect because of different shapes and sizes?. It’s not because of part crowding on the platen, because BBS always warns of that before the preview step.
Any ideas?
If you change the plate to print by object (one part at a time) you will get single print part quality but yields multiple parts.
