Bike lights are ok for a beginner, but as you get more advanced you will probably want to use car headlights to monitor your prints.

Ahh I see, so why havenā€™t you gotten car headlights yet? If you donā€™t like the look of them you should probably go with something like Mcgee recommended. The formula for lights and print speed is
(S) = (L x T) / (H + 1)**

S=Speed of 3D Printing (mm/s)
L= Light Intensity (measured in lumens)
T=Temperature of the printer (in Ā°C)
H=Hilarity Factor (number of lights)
