I have been waiting for months now for the AMS hub to be in stock so I can purchase the AMP2 Pro for my A1. I have seen the AMS become available several times, but the hub never gets restocked. Has anybody else noticed this?
You can also use a filament buffer from an X1C and a 4-pin-to-6-pin cable. Collectively those will cost more but at least they may be available.

Sorry, I knew what you meant and I thought that was it. But yeah, I guess they don’t have the new one for the full size AMS. What DMeader said is correct though, if you have the old one it works too.
I’m not talking about the AMS Lite. The X1C buffer will work. Lots of people on here used it to connect an AMS2 Pro to their A1 when the official AMS Hub was unavailable. If you only have one AMS, then you are all set. You can buy the 4-to-1 adapter later to add more AMS or just print your own splitters.
You can spend $5 more for the X1C buffer and have it in a few days, or wait… and wait… and wait…
Are you saying you don’t need the hub, and you can use the one for the AMS lite?
Either way the AMS 2 pro isn’t available now anyway.

There are also models on MakerWorld to print mounts for both the buffer and hub.
I don’t know where you are buying from, but the US store has all of this in stock. You would be about $10 more out-of-pocket to use the AMS buffer and cable instead of the A1 Filament Hub, but I’d consider that worth it to get to printing.
A lot of people have filament buffers lying spare in the back of a drawer. It came with their X1C and they replaced it with the 4-port AMS Hub…

Yes, like you said, both the AMS and AMS 2 Pro are listed as “available in February”. I see from the screenshot you posted that the AMS 2 Pro kit for the A1 comes with all you’d need, you don’t have to buy anything else. When I borrowed an AMS from my X1C for my A1 I had a spare X1C buffer and could have used that, only needing to buy the cable. I chose to order the A1 AMS hub because it both came with the cable I needed and made for a cleaner installation in my case. The AMS units for the A1 are on a shelf above the printer. I didn’t like the hub dragging cables and tubes up and down the gantry as it moved, so I mounted it on one of the legs of the shelf.

I agree, I shared the warning, I didn’t say not to do it, as I noted, I have no knowledge of why it would be an issue or otherwise.
Looks like it’s available today in the US store, and you can add an AMS 2 Pro right now, even though it’s on backorder. This would let you get them both on the same order.
Minha impressora estava apresentando o mesmo problema, de alimentação de filamento no AMS e pelo incrível que pareça, comprei um filamento novo e resolveu… Mas eu estava percebendo que a alimentação só acontecia quando eu tirava o filamente e fazia o corte em 45º. Toda vez que a impessora tentava alimentar com o filamento com o corte feito pela mesma, não funcionava, com o corte manual em 45º alimentava. Porém, como falei anteriormente, o filamento novo está alimentando normalmente a própria impressora… Acredito que filamento velho e úmido pode ter ocasionado a não alimentação…
