The A1 Ams hub has been out of stock since Black Friday and they keep pushing the ETA date further back. I need the hub before Christmas and it isn’t in stock. This is insane! Are they ever going to put this in stock again?
In it’s in stock for the US…I don’t know where your at.
I think he meant the hub to connect an AMS, AMS2PRO and/or AMS-HT to the A1. That hub is (like he wrote) unavailable since end of October. It is not the same hub as for the AMS Lite.
The A1 series hub to the AMS, AMS 2 Pro & AMS HT, is out of stock in every single territory it is sold in.
Back in stock dates are different in each territory beginning in a couple of days.
How do you see the back in stock dates, the system will not show me.
They show on in the button to purchase area when not available.
I am guessing you are using the American territory sales site.
America
Two others for comparison.
U.K.
Europe
I am on an iPad using Safari.
The same thing happens on my Mac computers using the Chrome browser.
Ah, thank you, that’s very helpful. I was just a little confused because the Canadian site does not have an ETA, but that clears it up, thanks.
They just updated the delivery times again at the third party I ordered it from. Original delivery date was supposed to be 18th December, now its saying 20th January. If you order now it says 18th February.
This is beyond stupid, because even with high demand they will never need more hubs than AMS’s produced and they are producing those just fine.
Someone f**ked up big time there.
On the Bambu store it says “back in stock before 24th of Dec”, which is already passed, because its the 24th today.
Here is what it says at 3DJake:
So yeah, expect to wait some more and continue to use your AMS as a paper weight.
Oh, would you believe it: after the 24th has come and gone, it now says Dec 31st:
Who is willing to bet that it won’t be in stock then and just automatically extends the deadline by a week every time.
This is pathetic.
Yeah I just gave up and ordered the p1/x1 buffer and it works perfectly fine for my setup.
Oh, I didn’t even know that was an option! I will order that one!
I highly recommend printing AMS buffer bracket for A1 and A1mini - Free 3D Print Model - MakerWorld
And this
A1 PTFE Guide with Ball Joint - V2 - Free 3D Print Model - MakerWorld
Hope this helps. Note you will need to buy the 4 pin bus cable separately if you don’t have one already.
Thank you, very much appreciated!
To rub salt into the wound, i got an email notification that the A1 buffer is back in stock an hour ago and its already sold out again…
And on Amazon it is inflated beyond reason.https://www.amazon.com/Compatible-Bambu-Original-Printer-BambuLab/dp
scalpers gonna scalp
any market that charges a % will let them
listen i orded my hub a month ago an d i only got it yesterday it got pushed of
a cupple of timse
It is unbelievable what happens here. I’m located in Germany and bought two AMS to use with the A1 series. One was a Christmas present for my son. As of now no one is able to use the AMS with the printer. It’s a shame that bambulab are still selling AMS systems but no hubs to connect them to the printer. And now it’s to late to return the AMS to bambulab. But I will check the terms of the German law if there is a way to give it back, as I can’t use it as it is intended by the manufacturer as he is not able to deliver the necessary components.
I don’t even think that the A1 ams hub is ever going back into stock because I have been waiting for it to in stock for over a month now and I live right next to china which should allow it to be in stock quicker compared to EU and the US and even then it is not in stock which I am very disappointed in I hope they can ramp up the production of them to meet the demand.
You can use the old filament buffer that was used for the X1/P1 series. Just make sure to buy the ams lite cable because that is sold separately. I have used it for a month and there has been zero issues. I recommend printing this AMS buffer bracket for A1 and A1mini - Free 3D Print Model - MakerWorld

Thanks, I just ordered the filament buffer for the X1/P1 and AMS Lite cable and will see how it works.
