@RIK_DESIGN oh … okay … thought it’s all moreless the same.
Has anyone found a solution to this? I’m currently having the same problem
Same problem! Any solution yet?
Yeah, Bambu sent me replacement parts after I opened a ticket about it. I swapped the parts and it printed fine after.
Did anyone find a solution?
I spent several hours and $$$ trying to troubleshoot this. Things I have tried so far:
- Dismantled and cleaned the extruder;
- Changed the nozzle;
- Changed the filament sensor (twice!);
- Changed the TH Motherboard;
- Changed the AMS Lite Filament Hub;
- Did several factory resets.
I just opened a ticket with customer support, but I’m not holding my breath because of the bad reputation it gets on Reddit…
After watching this video (*), I believe my issue comes from the magnet used in conjunction with the filament sensor, which doesn’t retain its off position.
I tried to use some lubricant on it as suggested in the video, but it didn’t do the trick.
I informed Bambu’s customer service of the defective magnet part, I’ll update my post when I get an answer.
(*) For some reason I can’t include a link in this post, just search " I FIXED My Bambu Lab A1 Mini!" on the “3D Printing Nerd” channel on Youtube.
For anyone with this issue: the Bambu Lab support has been great. They answered my ticket quickly and sent me the part I needed.
My issue was the filament sensor base: the magnet used to sense the presence of the filament (in conjunction with the filament sensor) wasn’t returning to its off position when no filament was in the base, so I needed to change it (see the video I mentioned above, it was really helpful to understand what was wrong).
That’s too bad this part is not on sale in the shop, hopefully Bambu Lab will add it.
