I am experiencing tangle few times during the last days, and the tangling is not the filament being wired wrong, it is just half or an entire loop that got loose and jump over the loop being fed, when pulled all of them got tied and the tangle happens. Avoiding extra loops being loose solve the issue, but there is no way to avoid that from time to time. I am thinking to use some kind of sponge on an arm, pressing slightly against the filaments, sponge the exact width of the inner filament spool, by doing this, the loops will kept quiet and in place. I saw something like that in the industry, where a machine needs to keep the strings neatly rolled over the spool while pulling it. I will try, if this work, I can even 3D print an arm to attach on top of the A1, aside the actual spool holder, with some kind of spatula holding a sponge, pressing enough by underneath the spool.
I remember seeing someone make an adaption that lets you feed the filament from the top of the spool rather than the bottom, meaning that the filament is always kept taught. I can’t remember where I saw it unfortunately
I printed a handle which has the part in it, where you can click in the filament guide. Now the filament runs up to the top of the printer and does not tangle anymore, since its not fixed to the moving Z axis
