A1 Freezes During Calibration/Homing - No Error messages

Hello,

My A1 is stopping suddenly after I start calibration or homing. No error message appears after this happens.

I just replaced the hot end assembly after a clump (because I cut the wires on the old assembly during removal).

The screen shows the hot end at +200 degrees but it is cold to the touch. Here is a link to a video of the issue:

I have submitted a ticket thought I would post for any advice/experience others have to offer.

Thanks

Check your wiring.

If the nozzle is cold even when displaying 200c, then it’s a problem in the thermistor. As said, check all wiring again and see what is wrong.

Thanks for the suggestions. I have double checked the wiring, and tried two brand new hotend wiring assemblies. Still displaying high temp on the screen but nozzle is cold to the touch. Printer still stopping suddenly during the homing/calibration process with no error message being displayed.

Issue resolved, it turned out to be the Tool Head Board. New part was sent by Bambu and the printer is working now.

Just to share some extra details, I’ve faced the same issue recently. When initializing the machine, the screen remained stuck on “resetting axes,” and the problem turned out to be a defective SD card.

Ok, I hate to necro a thread but I just had something weird happen with a print. I was printing Bambu Refill spool - With internal filament clip! by Rossero - MakerWorld and it froze during the nozzle cleaning, no error message. So I tried two different files and both printed with no problem. Tried it again, froze again. Then I got a new SD card, thought it might have a corrupted section. Formated the new one, installed it and tried a different print. It printed great. So I downloaded a remix of the original freeze file, it froze. So I just decided to pause it and then unpause it. The file started printing. Anyone have this happen to them?
