A1 mini clicks and prints fail

I’m having an issue with my A1 mini.
I’ve had it for 2 weeks and all seemed fine to begin with and I was enjoying the beginning of my 3D printing journey. Last night I had my first failure, all was well and good but about 2 hours into my 4 hour print a clicking sound had developed and no filament would extrude.
I have check for blockages and I’ve even checked that everything was tight and where it should be, all is good.
Does anyone have tips on where the tension screw should be? It seems to have no problem extruding when it’s “pooping”, just on the “faster” parts of the print. Even 50% speed didn’t fix the issue.
I’m using PLA with 220 nozzle temp.

Appreciate any help.

So update.

I have purchased and installed a new extruder gear and it doesn’t seem to have fixed the problem.
There is still a clicking sound coming from the extruder and it misses layers or parts of layers.

To follow on from my previous question, do you adjust the screw on the side of the print head or not? How tight is everyone else’s?

I would try changing the nozzle. Partial clogs sometimes go and back.

So every 2 weeks buy a new nozzle?

No, only when it’s needed.
With a second nozzle (13€) you will know if that’s the problem for those print fails.
It’s a debuging tool.
