A1 Mini – Error only on Spool #2 during multicolor prints

Hi everyone,

I’ve been experiencing this issue for about 2–3 months, and I’ve owned my Bambu A1 Mini for around 1.5 years.

The error I’m getting is:

1200-8010 020147

On the screen it shows messages like:

“AMS1 Slot2 filament may be tangled or stuck” / “AMS Lite filament spool or filament may be stuck.”

The issue only happens with Slot / Spool #2 when doing multicolor prints. If I use the same spool in single-color prints, everything works fine and the error does not occur.

I’ve tried multiple filament brands, but the problem persists. Also, the filament is not physically stuck — I can manually move it without resistance even when the error appears.

Has anyone else experienced something similar or found a solution?

I’m having a similar problem with spool 2 but not just on multicolour prints.

it keeps making a wierd noise, saying that “AMS1 Slot2 filament may be tangled or stuck, and then it when I hit the check solution button it give me a robo smily face and says everything is fine. if I hit continue it just has the same problem again, it’s realy wierd.

I contacted the bambulab support sevice for a different problem right before I had this one and they sent me replacement feeders but when I told them about this problem they said the filement was just tangled and they closed the tickett.

I started to use just spools 1,3 and 4 but then it sayed that it ran out of filament (it didn’t) and it kept going back and forth between the print and the purge wiper.

I have been trying to print the same thing for months now and have lost count of failed prints.:grimacing:
