A1 Mini keeps restarting when starting print job

Hello. Since yesterday I am unable to print anything on my A1 Mini. When sending from Bambu Studio the mini downloads the file, unzips it and then restarts and does nothing. The file appears in print history on Mini, it doesn’t try to continue the print. When trying to print from printers history it starts processing the print and restarts itself the same way.

So far I have tried:

  • Formatting the original SD card
  • Replacing the SD card with new Sandisk card, formatted in printer
  • Unpluging from power for 1+ minute
  • Sending calibration print from Bambu studio
  • Creating brand new project & sending new print from Bambu studio
  • Saving file to SD card and printing straight from the SD card
  • Sending file from Orca Slicer
  • Creating support ticket at Bambu - so far only suggestion was to replace the SD card which I already did

Nothing works and Mini always ends up resetting itself and I can’t get it to print. It was working flawlessly for past month since I got it. Running latest firmware + latest Bambu Studio.

Any ideas what else can I try?

I appreciate this is a really old post, but I have had similar issues with constant restarts, as soon as the nozzle (sometimes bed) starts to heat it up.

I tracked it down to a faulty power supply, sourced a new one and now the issue has gone. Thought this might help others.

Yep, can confirm it’s a power issue.

Had my dehumidifier on the same multi-socket as my A1 Mini when this issue was happening. Gave it it’s own outlet and everything seems fine now.

Could you try downgrading to a previous version? Do you get any HMS error code? I would give Bambu your log files, it would help them a lot for these kind of issues.
