I´ve read many questions about campatibility of A1 Nozzles and H2 / P2 Nozzles. even the Bambu FAQ says no.
I´m thinking thats due to flowrates, the P2 nozzles have a longer melting zone, so Bambu cant promote them as compatible as they might not be giving the same output.
I didn´t want to by new 0,2 nozzles for my P2 so i tested that by installing my 0,2 Stainless A1 Nozzle onto the P2S. Had to modify a spare A1 silicone sock, but it fits.
Ich hab es auch versucht, von den maßen her passt es, der Kühlkörper vom A1 ist größer nach unten, aber sonst passt es, silikon muss angepasst werden, …flow, klar der ist anders, allerdings ist es doch genial das es passt…hab noch massig a1 nozzle hier und aktuell 2 a1 mit ams zu Verkaufen
Thanks for the pictures regarding the silicone sock. I modified mine exactly the same way you did. Now I just need to recreate the color coding on the sock so that this stupid error message doesn’t appear anymore saying the silicone sock isn’t installed. But it prints just fine
The nozzles of the P2S, A1, and H2 series are compatible with each other — I personally use them interchangeably without any issues.
Recently, however, I discovered an HF hotend that I bought from Temu, sold by a store called JUUPINE PRINTER. It’s the fixed-nozzle version, only available in 0.4 mm, so the nozzle itself is not replaceable.
I’ve been getting very good results with this hotend. The internal nozzle uses a CHT-style triple filament inlet, which increases the melt surface area and allows for a higher volumetric flow. Additionally, the outer body of the hotend is slightly thicker than standard flow hotends.
Overall, I can definitely recommend giving it a try.
Edit: It seems the above hotend isn’t the same as the one refered to by barut above. Therefore I don’t think this is available in the UK on Aliexpress.
I don’t think the product you shared is the same one. That one has a removable nozzle, and if you look closely, the nozzle has a single filament inlet. The hotend in the link I shared has a non-removable nozzle and a CHT-style internal design.
Also, when I do a cold pull with this hotend, the filament comes out in three separate strands due to the CHT-style internal structure. I also own the hotend you shared, but I wouldn’t say it is significantly different from the standard Bambu Lab hotend. If I remember correctly, I only observed around a 5–10% increase in flow with that one.
I have an issue that I shared on the forum, and I’ll leave the link below. If you have time, it would be great if you could check whether you notice any change in filament flow or under-extrusion when you change the bed temperature on your machine.

I haven’t purchased either of the hotends yet but at that price it may be worth a punt just to have as a spare. I’m not particulary interested in high flow at present, more interested in a hardened nozzle for more techinical filaments later, as I’m still getting used to the machine and trying different types and brands of filament.
If you’re not sure, you’re welcome to buy one and test it yourself. I have no intention of misleading anyone — I’m simply sharing my own experience as it is.
Unfortunately, due to taxes in my country, HF hotends end up costing almost ten times more than the one I bought from Temu, which is why the price difference matters a lot for me.
Honestly, when I first bought it, I thought I might just end up throwing it away. But after using it, I almost never use my original hotend anymore.
I have an H2S, 2 P1S and a Mini. I’ve used the .6 from the H2 in a pinch, but I don’ think the quality really was up to par. I ended up using it only because I thought, but don’t, have a A series .6.
Just seems to me that if you’re buying stock, just use the P2S. The cost (unless going HF) is nearly identical. I don’t think you’re getting the quality you should no matter which way you go.
Now if you want to use a third party, have at it. I can understand a CHT style may provide you better performance over stock.
