I recently discovered a pool of oil on my unit underneath where the camera and x axis motor is housed about the size of 10 pence piece there’s also oil residue where it’s dripping down underneath camera housing its a golden yellow colour like motor oil and im concerned it’s coming from x axis stepper motor however online search mentions over lubrication of x axis rail which seems odd to me as im always careful when lubricating the rail only putting small amount and wiping off any excess there’s also an oily residue under hotend fan cowl but it’s not dripping like under x axis motor housing im a newbie to 3d printing can anyone advise me what the potential cause is ? printer seems to be working fine it doesn’t get massively used ie runs maybe 15hrs in a day i only use bambu labs oil and only when the printer says time to lubricate this has only just started yesterday and ive owned my printer approximately 6mths
