I want to get a new printer but I am struggling between the A1 and the P1S. Dust could be a slight problem and the temperatures are changing a lot at night. Any suggestions? (Print quality is a huge factor to me. Especially print lines)
It probably comes down more to what materials you want to print. The A series printers are mainly for printing PLA and PETG while the P1S will print most filaments types including the higher end types that require an enclosed chamber.

You just answered your own question. P1S is enclosed and if you’re concerned about dust and temperature gradient, you have only one choice; P1S.
for dust you can just buy a crappy cheapo enclosure off literally any major online store or just throw a cardboard box over it.
major temperature changes won’t affect TPU/PLA/PETG that dramatically (i say this as a canadian whose basement the printer was in during the day was 18-25C depending on if the sun was out and if someone was fiddling with the heaters and at night only about 5-10C; just warm enough to stop the pipes from freezing).
a big downside to the A1 series ive found is that you can only ever use 4 colours on an AMS (if you got one) and the bed slinging can be problematic if you’re printing something both narrow and tall. an additional annoyance is the fact that even with an enclosure i’d have to heat it manually if i wanted to - say - print abs or something.

Well it’s only 2 or 3 degrees and I’m not sure if that really matters

No question the P1S. The AMS blows away the AMS Lite.

I’ve found my A1’s on a slower profile produce distinctly higher surface quality than my P1S, but there is no denying that an enclosure and a CoreXY motion system make certain prints infinitely more possible than an open frame bedslinger… which is why I have both
// If you’re looking at the P1S, you might also look at the Centauri Carbon. They finally started shipping. No AMS is the main downside. They also interop with some bambu spare parts if you end up getting both (lol)
