This did not resolve the issue for me. My A1 was working fine until about a month ago. It began to pause randomly during prints. I tried all of the fixes in the threads I read as well as those on reddit threads and none of them worked. This seemed to occur after I updated the firmware to 01.03.01.00.
I have to baby sit it to resume the print every time it pauses, which isn’t feasible on long prints. Also, when the printer is idle, the display screen will go to a random print file, and if left alone, eventually go to the screen to choose Use AMS | Bed Leveling | Calibration options, it had gotten as far as the AMS screen to choose the filament. It’s as if someone or something is pressing the NEXT button to get to the next screen.
The issue in this thread was caused by a certificate issue that was since resolved by Bambu, where prints would fail as a result. If you are still having an issue then keep an eye on the touch screen on your printer.
I had the problem you describe and it turned out to be the touch screen registering phantom touches. This was separate to the issue in this thread but it was very intermittent and the print would normally resume with no issues. The store I bought it from helped me with some troubleshooting which ended with me replacing the touch screen. This has drastically reduced the paused by user issue but has not eliminated it.
I am currently working through a batch of smaller prints to gather logs and video of the issue to send to Bambu but the intermittent nature is making it difficult to gather info on.
Bit of an update
I’ve had to move the router to make room for Christmas to the point where the printer no longer receives signal. I have been printing via power cycling and cold swapping the SD card each print and have not had a single pause issue since over a reasonable amount of Christmas printing.
Since this seems to have fixed my issue entirely I’ll be using the printer offline going forward as I don’t normally don’t print often enough and no longer have the time free to troubleshoot printing issues.
I just bought my printer last week and as soon as i updated it to the new firmware it started to do this. I will try to disconnect from the wifi to see if it works.
