During recent prints the printer head moves across to the filament cleaner and clicks it then resumes printing. The frequency is approximately 8 seconds of printing then move to clean head, clicks the mechanism then restarts another 8 seconds of the print.!! This can’t be right can it??
Sounds like you selected timelapse and it will park head to take a picture at regular interval, deselect timelapse and head should not stop printing.
Hey So I am having a issue with my A1 mini where is starts the print prints for about an hour then cuts the filament a says to check if it is caught or stuck. I have resliced it four times and same problem.
I use Hatchbox PLA and am trying to print one piece in one color. Any solutions??
Thanks for the suggestion but I am aware of that option but I have disabled the Timelapse and all other printing “safety” options too…but it still does it. It has happened recently and I am thinking maybe it’s the print files that I have tried. Can’t see what else to try…
Philch, …sorry, my apologies, somehow (user error) the camera setting was still on Timelapse…!! I thought it was turned off on the printer controller but when I looked at the sd card it was recording time lapses. So thank you for your solution… it made me check again…lol.
On reflection I probably tried to change the settings while I was printing and therefore they didn’t take effect?? Even though they appeared to have been changed and probably reverted back after the print ended. That’s seems the most likely answer.
