A1 Printhead moves off bed during print

Thank you this helped me. Would like some explanation from BBL either telling me why I should leave it or that it’s confirmed to be a bug

No idea also, at it is being downplayed as “this is the way it is” I dont understand how this hasnt been fixed

Thank you so much for this explanation. That was exactly that I experiencing and dind’t know how to turn off.

Just got my A1 and added this to the gcode. Reduced a 5 hour print to 4! Amazing. Anyone new like me, the click the icon next to the nozzle selector, then chose the machine gcode tab.

The X1C does not has this bug, and A1 users think is not a bug that it appears on the preview. I dont understand how this could be wrong/unfixed for so many months.

Not a huge time saving on this example, but removes unnecessary travel.

Thanks for the tip, but on an 8 hour print I saved only 11 minutes. So I’d say don’t bother.

Hi, it’s quite a long time, but it helped me, thanks a lot.

oh its the blob thing a1_裹头检测_.gif

its the nozzle clumping detection

yeah its kind of weird, it always goes to the far corner to where the wiring is to the bed after printing the third or fourth layer, and only happens once. i have the recording and timelapse turned off, i came here seeing if someone had answers. doesnt bother me a hole lot, its just kinda weird and seems pointless…

It is the nozzle buildup detection.

Thanks for this - I was having the very same problem with the 3rd layer being consistently misaligned due to the printer head moving off the bed. Added the gcode setting and all sorted. Magic!
