Has anyone else had this isssue . while printing my A1 screen has gone black its like its gone to sleep but tapping does not get it back on .Itrs working and printing fine ,can see it all through Pc or App ?
am in a 12 hr print so cant tell if a hard reset will work yet ?

It is normal for the screen to go black in order to save energy and protect the display. The question now is: Why doesn’t the printer wake up?
Does the touchscreen work normally otherwise, or do you notice anything unusual when you select something directly on the printer?
Otherwise, you can access the printer directly via the app or slicer and check its status, in addition to whether it is still printing.
It’s working ok but then it just went black and will not wake up ..printer is working fine apart from that and print is continuing to print ok
i had this prob also im printing a 2 day print and the screen turns black what i do is when the print is finshed i turn the printer off and tern it on again. it gets annoying after a wile
I find that when printing a huge file (100+MB), the A1 screen is not very responsive, and sometimes takes a couple held down taps to wake up, fishing for the spare CPU cycle or whatever that is checking the screen.
Similar experience w/ ECC and Qidi+4, although those devices behave way worse. You can practically hear the CPU screaming in agony

Changed the sd card and all works ok now !!! Very strange ,I had one of the first a1 that had to have the new bed on , so card has done some hours , I heard they can just go dodgy and this seems to be the case
i will do that now i made a support ticket. i will do 4 now
