A1 suddenly weird tree bases. Studio update issue?

Suddenly my tree bases look like this:

Anyone know why?

Yes I know the filament is a bit wet, but the lines are solid and a little stringing doesn’t matter to this design, I was getting good prints until Studio updated to 2.7.1.57 the other day. Before the update my tree supports didn’t have these large conical expansions at the bottom.

These areas look relatively normal in the slicer.

I can see why someone would have thought the cones were a good idea, but they don’t print well and I hope there’s some way to get rid of them other than rolling back.

I like it, very realistic, looks like the trees have roots.

Ikr, at first I thought it was some kind of clever algo-fractal optimization

Oh look a new Studio update, and it seems to be fixed.

QA, I love QA

lol

Another thing that got fixed: the ctrl-1, ctrl-2 etc viewpoint controls work now. 100 people told me it was a problem with Windows grabbing the hotkeys, but it wasn’t.
