Yesterday i realized, that the Printer stopped because the Spool was empty although there was still filament in the tube.
I am quite sure, that the Printer used the filament in the tube completely, and than stopped, when the Extruder sensor realized there is no filament anymore.
As i started pushing filament trough the AMS motor, the printer continued to print. When i was to slow to push the filament, the printer stopped again.
Did i miss some configuration, or is this not possible anymore?
Hi, had this problem multiple times,
The sensor that detects filament is in the part where you insert it, not on the other end.
This means that, when printing, it detects a lack of filament, and stops the print.
The resolution to this, in my case, is one of two ways:
To put the same colour in the same spot and push it through to the sensor.
Have the same colour on a different slot and it will continue to use that in some case

Does anybody know how to stop it from changing the colour to a completely unrelated colour after it has finished?
There is another Ensor in the Extruder, if you Print without AMS the Printern needs to know weather there is filament or not, so after the Filament left the AMS-Sensor it sould behave like i was printing from Spool (without AMS).
I Pushed it trough the AMS and the tube, but if you pause pushing, the Printer will stopp.
Its not about switching to another Roll, i know that that is possible. I just dont want to waste Filament.
Maybe the Problem was caused by the Bambulab Filament. The decided to use Tape to fix the End (or the Beginning?) of the Filament to the Roll. Therefore i had an Error. Maybe this caused the Printer to stop feeding, without the AMS Sensor giving feedback, that there is still Filament.
I need to watch this at the End of my nex Roll.
