There are a ton of “designers” that use IP from big comercial companies, generally in the form of badgets, signs, etc.
How is this managed?
How canthey make a badget of Mario, Coca-Cola, Homer Simpson, KODAK, etc… and not been taken down?
Some of they have hundreds of those item listed.
I can’t understand.
It’s impossible those “designers” have all the rights to use that IP.

Models featuring intellectual property (IP) from these companies, such as logos and characters, are typically considered “fan art.” As long as the creations are not used for commercial purposes, they generally fall under fair use, meaning you don’t need the IP owner’s permission. However, the specifics can vary by country, and while some companies are generally lenient, others, like Nintendo, are known for being more litigious.

Edit:
To provide a complete picture, it’s important to note that these models remain problematic. Although the creators might not use them in commercial scenarios, Bambu Lab certainly does, leveraging them to promote their business. Therefore, there is always an imminent risk associated with uploading these models.

So it’s somehow permited.
Thank you @Uhl

I would add the Bricks one too as more litigious…
