Just my luck a brand new spool of Inland white PLA needed babysitting for my 3 hour print and actually triggered the safety about stuck filament. So that was good as I just followed the prompts and continued on with success except for watching the spool and rotating it every few minutes when it seemed to get tight. I am sure I will run into this issue again. I was thinking that I had seen some filament spool winding machines to rewind poorly wound filament. Anybody use one or have a recommendation on a good one to make?
Thanks
I tried a few last year but found them rather unsatisfactory. AMS savers on the other hand helped a lot. Still not to the extent I’d like (just say “refill”…), but they cut my entanglement issues by around 90%.
