Thank you ,knew it would be there somewhere lol
It’s also interesting to note that there is an option now that you can enable to pause the print when you open the door on an X1C.
I wish I could turn the light on/off from the start screen like before.
Now I have to do extra steps for that.
Is that the front screen?
It’s under a different tab, but extra steps is a bit of a stretch. It’s one extra tap
Agreed, i just came here after updating one of the machines…
Unfortunatly it is badly designed, whats with the extra steps to turn off the light which is a HIGHLY demand quick access to turn off the lights before i start my prints.
and not to mention having P1P background on an X1C, and the filament config page looks like was made by 0 level designer on MS paint.
@BambuLab kindly look into what i mentioned here, and please put the light button back on the main screen. the graphics are too distracting to have user focus on what they are looking for.
And I don’t like it! It’s an extra step when waking up the printer.
Aren’t I allowed to express my displeasure?
That’s fair honestly, but I have never turned the light off on mine in over 2 years, so each to their own I guess ![]()
Have to disagree on the filament config page, it looks very nice imo and is way cleaner and easier to use than before
i appreciate your opinion but i don’t see a point of you just hogging every comment in this post with ( i disagree and state an excuse along the line).
and yes the filament config page is less developed than it used to be.
Out of interest, what features do you feel it’s lacking now?
Agree. I want it back on the main screen. Maybe there can be an option to have tiles on your main screen that are personalised.
Truly feels like an Apple product now… making changes nobody asked for, and adding more steps to simple things like turning off the chamber light. The new UI sucks ![]()
If you don’t like it, don’t update the firmware? ![]()
It’s impossible to please everyone.
My first thought was exactly the same, why is there a p1p on my x1 screen. But it’s not a p1p exactly. Top left hand corner you can see a shadow of the enclosure. This seems to be an xray type of view.
Lol, these comments are making me glad I downgraded to 1.07. Seems like I’ll be sticking with that for a while.
It’s interesting to read that LAN mode was rebranded as Developer mode to make it sound like something that isn’t really on the menu for regular users. “It’s not a feature you should want,” is the message.
I’m on 1.08.05.00, can’t say I’ve seen any glaring issues? When was the H2D added to versions?
I saw comments in an update of it and stopped updating because I’m a programmer and know the slop that’s tossed around in the first versions of non-branched code.
I’ll be staying on 1.08 until they restore OrcaSlicer’s ability to send prints directly to the printer.
You’ll need to get ready for a (very) long wait…as, based on what has publicly transpired from Bambu side, I doubt they will ever reverse course and allow for the addition of any 3rd party apps or devices. So, since the January 16th firmware scandal, I’ve rejected any firmware and software updates and most likely I won’t update my X1C ever again…Can’t complain thou, as I’m able to use my printers the way I want, using OrcaSlicer and all the 3rd party devices I’ve installed over time.
