So, I had some Biqu PLA-HR(Like TPU) soaking in alcohol for about a week(bad experience trying to get supports off a basketball) and some of the tpu chemicals leached into the alcohol. Put the alcohol in a spray bottle and BAM, best glue/cleaner ive ever used. It dries sticky. Probably not great for all filaments. Ill update this, if I find one that doesnt work

Such a weird find. You just thought “Wonder if this funky brown liquid could be used as spray glue?” when you saw it? For curiosity sake, I’m now wondering how it can be used

I just happened to be out of alcohol and im doing giant flat prints, so really needed to clean the plate. Its hard trying to wash a 500mm plate in the sink lol. If you never hear from me again, its toxic lol

Wondrous other things have been discovered in a similar way: by human mistake or by manipulation error. Usually, it wasn’t planned to happen…but it did. Jessie here just happened to stumble on something through a similar situation: by mistake. In other words, it happened. That liquid could have been left untouched for months (perhaps even years 
) should he have had at hand another untouched alcohol bottle. On the other hand, Jessie being “Jessie the Tinkerer” (as we all know him), just said to himself, "why not surprise my pals on Bambu’s forum with an awesome new type of glue cleaner discovery " … and he did just that. Clearly, Jessie couldn’t keep that to himself (was already bubbling inside, threatening to burst out anyway), so he shared his wonderful new discovery with all of us. Awesome! I’m going to try it myself (sometime in the far-far away future) . Thx Jessie !

I just thought about something. This wasnt TPU. It was Biqu PLA-HR. Very similar to tpu. Edited the op

So, are you going to file for a patent now, that you happened to stumble on this amazing thing, or will you defy Bambu by releasing it as open source to whole humanity (makers) to benefit from?

People have been using slurries for a long time. But usually asa or abs and acetone. I think it came from the days before heated beds.

That’s pretty cool though to find something possibly new we can use. Have you tried washing it off the plate once applied? Looking forward to your experience.

Not yet, but it cleaned off my hands. The only reason I noticed is because my hands were so sticky.
My gut feeling tells me specific chemicals leached out. The part that was soaking didnt dissolve. It did slightly swell up. So, im thinking it was whatever chemical/s that are responsible for bonding or giving it its elasticity. Just guesses.
