Adaptive layer height and supports?

so i figured that adaptive layer height and supports dont work well together,in a print i want if i use adaptive layer height half of the supports dont generate,is there a fix or a workaround in this?otherwise this feature is useless!thnx

I use that combo all the time without issues. But some of the support types do have some strange bugs.
Which support type are you having these issues with?

tree(auto) and default style,i had 4 times the print fail,i looked closely and indeed some areas that needed support were missing,did all kind of tests and by disabling the adaptive layer height all supports were generated were they supposed to be

Did that gap show up in the preview?

The tree(auto) usually works very well for me with adaptive layers. But if it picks slim trees for example, there may be some bugs. Depending on the preview, it may make sense to try some of the other tree supports available.

i used default style,yes in preview supports were missing no matter the threshold,and the print failed too,it does that in all prints

Mhm. Strange. If you can upload the 3mf, I can try to confirm this evening.

mines been doing this to and its driving me crazy. Orca never had this issue.
