I think it would be cool if a system existed where a user could submit a remix to the creator of the original model, then the creator could review the changes before approving or denying the remix to be published.
I feel like most creators would not put in the effort to review or deny most every remix.

It could be a feature that can be toggled like the current system
Especially if the model is under standard license which most are and does not allow remixes. You remix it and you print it for your personnal use and don’t publish it or you give ownership to the original creator who publishes it
I’m guessing you’d have a lot of people avoiding posting models as remixes then. There is already enough hurdles one has to go through to post a model, never mind getting approval from another creator. I could see a scenario where if the original model’s creator had an issue they should have a system for disputing the remix (they may already have that).
But the current toggle is putting it under a non restrictive license.
