When there is a pause on a layer in the slicer, please add a line on the “Printing Progress” screen that will tell me what time and how many hours/minutes until that pause will happen.
Use case: I added a pause on layer 127. The print has started and it’s going to be awhile before layer 127 comes along. Yes, I will get a notification on my phone when it pauses, but I want to plan the time between now and then. For example, I don’t want to be in the shower or in the middle of cooking when the pause happens. So, it would amazing if Bambu Studio could give me a reasonable estimate of how many minutes until that pause occurs (and also show the real world time that it will be when that happens, just like the print finish duration and time).
In Bambu Studio you can see @ what time layer x starts. When you hover over the vertical scrollbar for the layers, it shows you the time passed for that layer.
After that it is some simple math to calculate the real time this will be.
I made an excel sheet for this. Just fill in the blue and the green will tell you what times the pauses should be. Too bad I cant upload that excel sheet or even link to the google sheets version haha. Also cant upload an image of it even though this has the option to… weird forum
