I tried to post this review of a model, only to be told it contains sensitive content, so it cannot be published. I did not test each word, and only said, in the end “We like it”. I wonder if it was the mention of SunLu, or maybe ‘bottom’.
pretty sure it’s because of mentioning sunlu
happy to hear you and your wife enjoy the design!
it was sunlu, they dont like it
This is their forum, their business, they can do anything they want. All of us here can either live with that or go else where. I am not affiliated with them, but am greatful that I don’t need to be a computer wiz to make their printer work, I just need to know how to turn it on and it just works and works great. And if you don’t agree with me, choose to bash me, that is on you. You need to grow up and mature.
@Locoman I think you need to understand why this is an issue instead of diving off the deep end and throwing out childish insults.
Absolutely no-one started “bashing” until you came along.
This is absolutely an issue for anyone designing or printing certain types of models that are dependent on particular filaments especially when it comes to type, colour and TD (even more so when Bambu don’t even sell or supply a suitable replacement).
This is a ridiculous decision on the part of MW and is akin to Ford not honouring your warranty if you don’t use Ford branded fuel in your car.
You can use the fuel in your car. Just don’t tell anyone you did it!
Its more like you trying to sell your own car in Ford showroom and Ford being ok with it.
Let me try, I love analogies. It’s like you’re selling Fords but you put signs on the lot saying they run better with Chevy gas. No wait… it’s like you tried to sell a used car to Ford with a bumper sticker that said “I
Dodge”, but they wouldn’t buy it until you peeled the bumper sticker off.
What happens if you mention esun or polymaker?
I don’t know about eSun (I haven’t uploaded any designs that use it lately), but I do know of someone who has uploaded a model today where Polymaker is apparently ok to mention (although she also mentioned Jayo and that was rejected as well).
I don’t think so. It’s more likely the combination of wife, and love and bottom which caused the AI to classify it.
The Greek alphabet is your friend. Don’t write SUNLU, write SUΝLU, with a Greek Ν (nu).
The filter is ridiculous. ‘Shove the SUNLU up your arse’ is sensitive because of SUNLU, the rest is not offensive.
And if you’re modelling for SUNLU spools or other SUNLU products, you can’t mention that. It’s best not to include it in model titles, descriptions, tags, profile names and profile descriptions, otherwise the filter will reject it. Then, of course, users won’t find it, because no one does the ‘SNL’, “SUNL” or ‘SNLU’ dance to find SUNLU models.
yeah makerworld is really doubling down on any mentions of competition, i.e if you add creality on a direct message or a link to patreon, the message does not sent as it’s flagged as spam lol
It’s Bambu’s inflated ego…
eh maybe maybe not!!!
I used to get direct messages from some companies asking me to post/move my models to their sites. The spam flag could be related to this kind of messages.
The word ‘snug’ will flag up as (reverse the word) ![]()
In speech marks, the words are not read the same by various algorithms.
What would they say if you used the following: PLA Green, etc. I have some prinrs i want to upload, as i buy what i can afford at the time.
I have also had it flag me for something about my self in a negative view. Like
“I might be stupoid, but I can’t get this to work”
it would flag that and I had to remove it. Its super strange with what you can’t say and the fact it won’t tell you what the issue is, on a longer post, its so frustrating!
