Ai camera sensitivity

I received the machine on Friday, and I immediately noticed that the AI camera triggered a nozzle clumping alert. I ended up disabling it, which feels a bit disappointing since it’s such a great feature—if it works correctly. It seems like Bambu Lab needs to adjust the sensitivity in the software. Is that something that will be addressed?

As for the speed, it’s noticeably slower than my P1S and A1s.
I’m also wondering if that could be improved through a future software update?

My H2D is definently quicker than my P1S and A1 Mini. Also even though I just got this machine yesterday, I have printed quite a lot and have not found any false AI detections. When I printed my Benchy though I printed a second one at sport mode and it ended up spaghetting but within 3 seconds the AI kicked in. So in conclusion mine hasnt made any false detetctions but actual detetctions

the software is often python and the dataset is from hundreds of images to create the ai data set. Do you have access to the code, to replace it will a more accurate xlm …data set? roboflow may have a trained dataset to replace it.

I did start a print yesterday with petg and checked how long it would take with my p1s, 8hrs and with h2d 11hrs.

This is new for me, Im not a hacker lol

I’ve seen a lot of people in the fb groups turned the Ai of because of the sensitivity.

The sensitivity is adjustable.

Also, the latest beta supposedly/maybe(?) improves it.

It should work better, overall, than prior printers, because just imagine what a Blob of Death would do to the printhead on this printer, and how expensive that might be to resolve.

still works pretty bad against black filaments (especially shiney black filaments), had to turn it off :frowning:

Yes it does but it still works very bad on low sensitivity. I have only tried black filament so far and i guess that’s not optimal color for the Ai to see.

Good to know! Other than PPS-CF, I haven’t done any black filament printing yet on this printer.
