The newest version I can use is 2.6.0.51, and even it has some instability issues 30% of the time. Updating to any newer versions cause studio to be almost unusable with nearly at 80% crash rate just upon launching the software. If I can get past launch, it usually crashes when loading a project or slicing a new project. I will often just launch the program, see a splash screen for a few seconds, and nothing. Fails to launch before I even see the GUI.
What in the world is going on here? I can’t really pinpoint in which version instability become an issue, but when I rolled back 2.6.0.51 was the newest version that remotely had stability.
This happens on both my gaming laptop, and my desktop computer, as well as a buddies computer who is just trying to get into the software side of 3d printing, so I know its nothing to do with one specific computer.
What is the solution here? I can’t live with this instability. Am I going to have to the go the jailbreak/orca slicer route or does bambu have any plans to fix their software or just keep releasing flawed updates that don’t address the issues?
