Almost no boosts since monday, changes in the new system?

I have one model that gets a lot of appreciation, about 600 views and 60 downloads per day.

Before monday, everything seems good, some boosts per day and visits rewards. But this week something changed, I only got 2 boosts in the model this week while I was getting like 7 - 8 per day.

In the creator center everything seems fine! Same views and downloads + prints per day, so visualization didnt change! It has to be something with boosts.

My take is that Makerworld didnt send notifications about boosts tokens for the users to expend.

Any creator with the same problem? Thanks a lot!

UPDATE: 21/07/25
No notifications today, here is the impact in boosts in my case:

Week 28 (Notifications working): 4774 views | 34 boosts
Week 29 (Notifications not working): 4557 views | 13 boosts

As you see, the impact is huge! Less than 50% of the boosts received cause this change. This is making boost system and exclusive program a bit useless!

If users doesnt know they can boost, they wouldnt do it!

It does look like the notifications for boosts this week didn’t go out, the number of them on my profile changed, but no comms, so could well be that people haven’t noticed.

I think that was the problem, not only me, but nobody got noticed!
I always got the boost burst on mondays, so it has sense

We hope Bambu didnt removed the notification

Yeah, I never got notification that mine dropped in either, but they are there. Actually I think someone boosted one of my models and I didn’t get that notification either.

I also received only half of the boosts I usually get on Monday - even though I had a pretty strong week.

And I can also confirm that I didn’t get a notification for new boost token, even though I received them. So I guess @MakerWorld should look into this.

Same here, 3 tokens received on Monday but no notification.

On the other hand, my stats show a very high increase in views this month, from an average of 1300 visits per day to a peak of 2100 yesterday.

However, since monday, I’m getting much less boosts than usual, last Monday 25 boosts, this Monday only 5. It must be because of the lack of notifications, people have the tokens in their accounts but they haven’t noticed.

i stopped using the app and switched to using the website because bambu won’t stop sending firmware updates specifically aimed to disable third-party modifications and so as a result i no longer have any boost tokens to hand out.

Just checked after reading this, and turns out I have 5 unused boost tokens sitting there too. Definitely seems like the notification didn’t go out this week. Hope @MakerWorld can sort it out soon.

No boosts for me to give out this week, I used the previous ones up, not sure what’s going on at this point

Did you print two models (from other creators) through the Bambu Handy app in the last 7 days?

I did not, browser only - was there an update about that I might have missed?

So you do “open in Bambu Studio”? I know downloading them and printing them doesn’t count but I’m not sure about “open in Bambu Studio”. They each have to be over an hour also.

No notifications for boosts I got today…

I open in Bambu studio, at least one of them was an hour.

Guess I’m not getting any boosts to give out going forward

I just remembered something else, are you in LAN only mode?

It seems like it’s strategic that there is no longer boost notifications, if people don’t get the reminder then they overlook and not boost as much, doesn’t seem like it’s accidental, but maybe I’m wrong?

Nope, just using it all as standard.

I feel like you should have gotten at least one. Maybe it’s two or nothing?

Edit So I’m looking at this:

and I see this:

Active Engagement
Your participation in the MakerWorld community now plays a bigger role in your eligibility for Boost Tokens. Key factors include:

  • Time spent printing models from the platform
  • Commenting on creators’ 3D models and rating print profiles
  • Thoughtfully giving Boost Tokens to ambitious 3D models

So it’s really hard to know at this point why anyone gets or doesn’t get them…

it seems strategic yes, they are doing all they can to reduce investment, it must be a big financial gap.
