I have an A1 with the latest firmware, the latest version of Bambu Handy for iOS and iPadOS and I am always being told that my A1 is offline until I quit the app and restart. I followed a Reddit post’s advice to log out of everything including the printer, uninstall and reinstall all software (including Studio) and I still have these problems. It’s not having a negative impact on my prints, it’s just really annoying.
I have the same issue.
In my case I have an A1 Mini and a P1S so I have 2 printers registered in the app. I am most often using the P1S when it’s goes offline in the iOS app (just the Handy app and not Bambu Studio on the PC), So I switch to the A1 Mini (in the top left) and then back to the P1S and then it’s online.
Force closing the app and reloading also works as you have noticed but switching printers is a little quicker for me.
They release frequent updates so it may get fixed some time.
I have the same issue with my P1S. It started with the recent update of the Handy app.
Me aswell, just got a x1c and im having the same problem anytime i want to see how my prints doing
Oddly it seems I get correct update notifications. So if I have a filament snag or a task complete notification, they are accurate. As soon as I go to check the actual app, it says offline. So there is a communication issue going through the cloud from my device to the printer. When the printer sends a signal through the cloud to my device it’s ok. Obviously(?) this is something to do with the MQTT and network security not working correctly.
My Handy app updated today. It is working fine now. I no longer have to restart to get the current build status.
That was true for me for a few days as well. Now it’s back to showing offline again until I restart the app.
