I was wire brushing my P2S nozzle and this piece of rubber came off

Is it something I have to worry about. Do I need to order a new part and if so, which part?
welcome to the club, this happened to me a few days ago aswell, i dont know how old your printer is but i contacted bambulab support and they said it would be fine but they recommend that i replace it, after a few talks with the support i got a free replacement part (you may not be lucky in getting a free one though)
it is meant to keep wires safe from the heating assembly btw

My printer is approx 1000 hours old and I’ve had no major issues with it whatsover. I’m comparing it to my previous printer which was a Creality K1 Max which was a piece of s**t and I ended up returning it and bought a P2S instead. Couldn’t be happier.
And I’ve had nothing but good experiences with Bambu’s customer support so I think this too will go smoothly.
yeah i also have round about 1000 Hours on my P2S and its a great printer so far, they first said that it was a consumer part so i would have needed to buy it myself, after showing some EU consumer laws they sended me one

Mind sharing me the consumer law text via DM? I’m in EU too and I bet the same law applies.
how old is your machine if i may ask?
if its under 6 months old then it may work but ask them first maybe they will send you one without you needing to send them the EU rules part:

The 6-Month Legal Presumption: Under EU directives, because the component failed in under 6 months, the law legally assumes the part had a manufacturing or material defect from the factory. The internal list only legally applies to parts that fail due to actual wear and consumption (e.g., a nozzle wearing thin after printing 5kg of abrasive carbon fiber). A silicone structural routing clip breaking under normal thermal exposure is a structural material defect, not natural consumption.

I bought it 19/01/26 so luckily it’s less than 6 months old.
