I just saw the new X2D and i have to say i honestly feel a bit stupid right now, i bought the main upgrades for my P2S (the part cooling fan (left) and the exhaust fan kit) and now the X2D has all of those integrated, has the dual nozzle and a whole bunch more and costs as much as my P2S plus the above stated upgrades
Im not sure if it is a moment of feeling stupid or i will feel that for longer
The P2S might be hard to sell, but that $100 cheaper could go to other things or save money for print farms. I have a P1S, but I feel sorry. They should certainly release an upgrade.
I had that feeling for a few minutes. Then realized that I have hundreds of hours on my P2S and that there is always going to be something new. When my P2S dies or I somehow outgrow it, the choices will be vastly different.
I think they had to price the X2D at this level to compete against the U1.
$900 for dual nozzle combo versus $2k for the H2D combo or $2.4k for H2C combo seems a huge savings for those anyone wanting to play around with tpu interlocking or purge-less support material interfaces.
I didn’t catch it in CNCKitchen’s review video, but will the X2D use the same build plates as X1, P1 and A1 products?
