AMS 2 Pro Drying: No filament recognition

Started my first drying cycle with the AMS 2 Pro. Loaded up the BL filament as usual, spools get recognized as ASA spools and after that, I select the drying option in the menu on th H2D. Got the message to remove the filament from the feeder and tuck it away. Did that, but the the filament isn’t recognized anymore and you have to manually select the filament type.

Find that strange: the AMS knows what filament is in there and if not, roll the motors to see what filament is inside.

Is it just me, or is this a strange implementation?

Does it recognize them if you rotate them so the RFID tags are near the reader when you tuck the filament in the spool? Not ideal, it should just rotate and scan them before moving onto the next step but maybe that’ll help until it’s fixed?

I don’t think they intend to automatically select filament type. I sometimes dry multiple types.
